- Michael Smith of Tracking the Storm: Hurricanes GM Ron Francis on Alex Semin’s wrist injury, which he underwent surgery for earlier this offseason.
“My understanding was that he was coming back to train,” he said. “He’s training, according to his agent, a couple times a day and doing therapy on the wrist as well. There were no issues with the wrist, as far as I was told.”
Francis on if Semin will be 100 percent by the start of training camp.
“Based on the information I have, absolutely yes,” he said.
