  • Michael Russo of the Star-Tribune: Wild’s Jason Zucker had surgery to repair a broken clavicle on February 12th. He’s been skating and awaiting clearance for contact and hopes to be ready for the playoffs.

“I feel perfect. I feel great,” said Zucker, sweating after another long, hardworking skate with a few teammates and coaches on Friday. “I don’t feel I have any restrictions shooting or passing or definitely skating. But it’s the docs. They know what’s best and what’s right and the right timeline. And whatever they say goes. Nothing else matters.”

  • Joe Smith: Lightning’s Jason Garrison is out three- to four-weeks with an upper-body injury.
  • Bryan Burns: Lightning’s Tyler Johnson is day-to-day and Andrej Sustr is out one- to two-weeks with upper-body injuries.
  • Michelle Gingras: Lightning’s Cedric Paquette said that he initially couldn’t feel his right leg after he crashed into the post on the weekend. Surprised how good he feels now.
  • Don Brennan: Senators Andrew Hammond said that he’s been dealing with a back injury, but added that he feels good enough to start.
  • Tim Panaccio: Flyers Luke Schenn’s season is likely over due to a lower-body injury.
  • Shawn Mitchell: Blue Jackets Matt Calvert (concussion) and Alex Wennberg (hand) are a “real good possibility” to play tonight according to coach Todd Richards.
  • Paul Friensen: Jets Bryan Little said that his status for tonight will depend on the morning skate.
  • Jonas Siegel: Maple Leafs Peter Holland is returning soon, possibly as soon as the weekend.
  • Sarah McLellan: Coyotes Mikkel Boedker skated for 15 minutes yesterday, the first time since his spleen surgery. “I think that’s one thing that will keep his sanity,” Tippett said.
