- Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun: Senators Clarke MacArthur won’t need surgery to fix his injured tendon in his hand. He suffered the injury fighting Flames Chris Butler. He won’t play tomorrow, and could return next Saturday.
“The only update I have is they don’t need to do surgery so that’s as positive as it could be,” said coach Paul MacLean before Saturday’s game.
“It’s more to do with pain threshold and ability to hang onto the stick. Those will be the factors that go into it.”
