Brad Elliott Schlossman: Colgate sophomore defenseman Michael Neumeier will be entering the transfer portal when it opens, instead of signing with an NHL organization. He put up seven goals and 16 assists and was second in the NCAA in TOI with 27:01 a game.

Sam Nestler: Dallas Stars GM Jim Nill said that his contract had been worked out a few weeks, but they had held off announcing it. With speculation about his possible future picking up, the Stars and he wanted to get the extension news out there to stop any further talk.
