- John Vogl: Defenseman Mike Weber had knee surgery and is out week-to-week according to coach Dan Bylsma.

- Curtis Pashelka of the San Jose Mercury News: Logan Couture hopes to begin skating when the team returns from their roadtrip (Nov. 22nd). He is not going to rush back.
“Injuries are something that sometimes just takes time,” Couture said. “I’ve said it from the start. I’m not going to push it where I’m not feeling comfortable.”

- Mark Stepneski: Ales Hemsky was given a maintenance day yesterday. Jyrki Jokipakka also had a maintenance day. He’s been dealing with a lower-body issue and could play if needed.
- Mark Stepneski: Coach Lindy Ruff said that Patrick Eaves is available and could play. Travis Moen is getting close to returning.
