Derek Lee: Anaheim Ducks forward Cutter Gauthier (upper-body) was on the ice for their practice yesterday. Defenseman Radko Gudas (lower-body) practiced yesterday and was in a regular jersey. Forwards Ross Johnston (lower-body) and Jansen Harkins were the only Ducks players who didn’t skate.

Matt Komma: Carolina Hurricanes forwards Logan Stankoven, William Carrier, Jackson Blake, Taylor Hall and Mark Jankowski, and defensemen Jalen Chatfield and K’Andre Miller missed last night’s game for undisclosed reasons.

Bruce Miles: Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Ethan Del Mastro missed yesterday’s game with an undisclosed injury. Forward Frank Nazar left in the second period after taking a puck to the face. Forward Andrew Mangiapane left in the third period after sliding into the net.

TSN: Colorado Avalanche coach Jared Bednar was taken to the hospital last night after he was hit in the right cheek with a puck in the third period. He was alert and conscious when leaving for the hospital to get a CT scan and further evaluation.

Defenseman Josh Manson left in the second period with an upper-body injury. Assistant coach Dave Hakstol: “He’s being evaluated so we’ll see how it is (Sunday).”

Odds of Winning the NHL Draft Lottery and First Round Matchups

Dan Greenspan: Edmonton Oilers forward Max Jones left last night’s game in the first period with an undisclosed injury.

Robby Stanley: The Minnesota Wild sat out forwards Joel Eriksson Ek and Mats Zuccarello and defenseman Jared Spurgeon to rest.

Eric Engles of Sportsnet: Montreal Canadiens defenseman Noah Dobson left yesterday’s game in the second period with an apparent thumb injury after blocking a shot. A trainer followed Dobson down the tunnel when he got off the ice, then the trainer went back to get the doctor. After the game, defenseman Lane Hutson said, “It sucks.”

Defenseman Kaiden Guhle has missed the past three games for ‘maintenance,’ and will likely return to the lineup today.

The team left for New York, and the only equipment remaining in the Montreal Canadiens dressing room was Dobson, Alexandre Carrier and Patrik Laine.

Robby Stanley: Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi returned to the lineup after missing Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury.

Stefen Rosner: New York Islanders forward Maxim Shabanov missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

Julian McKenzie: Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk left yesterday’s game early, “wasn’t feeling well,” according to coach Travis Green.

Penguins PR: List of injured Pittsburgh Penguins who missed yesterday’s game, and all are considered day-to-day.

Evgeni Malkin (upper-body)
Bryan Rust (lower-body)
Parker Wotherspoon (upper-body)
Erik Karlsson (lower-body)
Kris Letang (upper-body)

Forward Connor Dewar is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Darren Brown: Seattle Kraken goaltender Nikke Kokko made his NHL debut with goaltenders Joey Daccord (lower body), Philipp Grubauer (lower body), and Matt Murray (personal) all out.

Joe McDonald: Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brandon Hagel returned to the lineup after missing the past five games with a lower-body injury.

Defenseman Darren Raddysh and forward Zemgus Girgensons missed yesterday’s game due to undisclosed injuries.

Matt Komma: Utah Mammoth defenseman John Marino missed last night’s game and is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

NHL Rumors: Vancouver Canucks – Adam Foote and Manny Malhotra

Wes Crosby: Washington Capitals forward Pierre-Luc Dubois left yesterday’s game with an upper-body injury after crashing into the boards.

Defenseman Rasmus Sandin left the game in the third period after taking a hit from Justin Brazeau. He had grabbed his right leg and needed help getting off the ice.
