Matthew Fairburn: Buffalo Sabres defenseman Michael Kesselring and forward Jordan Greenway could be options tonight, according to coach Lindy Ruff. The timeline for forward Noah Ostlund isn’t known, as he could be day-to-day, but possibly out for a longer period of time.

Corey Masisak: Colorado Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said that forward Nic Roy will resume skating this week and will get into a game well before the start of the playoffs.

- Corey Masisak: Makar took a hit from Adam Klapka with 5:28 left in the second period. He finished the shift and took too more afterwards. Makar didn’t come out for the third.

David Dwork: Florida Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov won’t play for the rest of the season.

Tom Gulitti: Washington Capitals forward Aliaksei Protas (upper-body) didn’t practice yesterday, and coach Spencer Carbery said Protas won’t play tonight. He’s likely going to be out for a little while.
