“He’ll continue to be evaluated by our doctors, but he’s obviously doing much better since he’s on his way ,” said Claude Julien following Boston’s Wednesday afternoon practice in Music City. “He’ll be looked at again on and we’ll evaluate him and see how he is. It will be a day-to-day situation, I think.”
Defenseman Colin Miller suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday, is traveling with the team. He’s doubtful for tonight.

Staal missed 36 games in 2011-12 with a concussion from a hit from his brother Eric. The hit took place the previous year, but he played through the symptoms.
