Mark Stepneski: GM Jim Nill said that doctors will know more about Curtis McKenzie‘s eye injury once the swelling goes down. They are encouraged by the early signs so far.
Mark Stepneski: Nill said that McKenzie has a deep gash around his eye but there doesn’t appear to be any permanent damage to the his eye.
Mark Stepneski: Nill said that McKenzie was flying back to Dallas yesterday and will be further evaluated by doctors there. He isn’t to be active for the next five days.
Mark Stepneski: Nill said that Ales Hemsky is day-to-day with a hip issue.
