On the Los Angeles Kings …

Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider: GM Dean Lombardi said that the earliest goaltender Jonathan Quick could return to the lineup is early March. Quick has not done any skating.

Forward Tyler Toffoli has skated with the team on their road trip, but his not expected to return to the lineup until after some time after the All-Star break.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Curtis Zupka: Forward Jakob Silfverberg skated yesterday in a no-contact jersey. He won’t be in the lineup tonight.

Eric Stephens: The Ducks are sending forward Nate Thompson to the AHL on a long-term conditioning loan. He started skating with the team recently. He is coming off a torn Achilles.

On the Dallas Stars …

Sean Shapiro: Forward Jamie Benn has a black eye and broken nose from their game against the Capitals. He wasn’t wearing a visor at yesterday’s morning skate.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Winnipeg Jets: Defenseman Tobias Enstrom left last night’s game early with an upper-body injury.

On the San Jose Sharks …

Kevin Kurz: There is a very good chance that forward Tomas Hertl returns to the lineup on Thursday.

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Mike Chambers: Forward Matt Duchene is questionable for tomorrow.

Colorado Avalanche: The Avs put Tyson Barrie and Rene Bourque on the IR and recalled Jim O’Brien.

On the Chicago Blackhawks …

Scott Powers: The Blackhawks activate forward Marcus Kruger from the IR.

On the Nashville Predators …

Thomas Willis: Forward Miikka Salomaki (IR) was on the ice yesterday for their morning skate.

Brooks Bratten: Forward Colin Wilson (IR) was also on the ice this morning.

Brooks Bratten: Defenseman Roman Josi (IR) was on the ice as well.
