On the Minnesota Wild …

Dane Mizutani of the Pioneer Press: Forward Zach Parise took a high stick on Tuesday, he has is vision and coach Bruce Boudreau said it’s an upper-body injury.

“His eye looks pretty black and blue,” Boudreau said. “He’s a little sore in his upper body. I don’t think he’s going to be out for a long period of time. I don’t think he’s going to play (Thursday’s game against Ottawa). It wouldn’t surprise me if after the weekend he’s ready to go.”

KFAN 1003: Boudreau on Parise’s injury: “We know his eye is OK, but we don’t know if there’s other damage around it.”

On the Chicago Blackhawks …

Mark Lazerus: Coach Joel Quenneville said yesterday that forward Artem Anisimov is getting “close to skating,” and it could happen in the next day or two. They are expecting him to return for the playoffs.

On the San Jose Sharks …

Curtis Pashelka: Not a big surprise that forward Logan Couture didn’t travel with the team on their road trip to Edmonton.

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Craig Morgan: Forward Shane Doan (lower-body) is still day-to-day. He was on the ice yesterday for their morning skate.

Craig Morgan: Doan wasn’t able to play last night but he might be able to go on Friday.
