Dhiren Mahiban: The agent for Hamilton (OHL) defenseman Nicolas Mattinen said that he’s talking to the Maple Leafs about an entry-level contract.
Leafs PR: The Maple Leafs have promoted Brandon Pridham to assistant general manager. He’ll continue to assist in the salary cap analysis, contract negotiations, and the CBA interpretation.
Leafs PR: The Maple Leafs have hired Laurence Gilman as an assistant GM. His roles will include “player personnel, managing the club’s player development department & farm system, and overseeing the organization’s top prospects as GM of the Toronto Marlies.”
