On the Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, St. Louis Blues, Carolina Hurricanes, Washington Capitals, Minnesota Wild and Philadelphia Flyers …

Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet: Can the Montreal Canadiens acquire a second first-round pick by moving Max Pacioretty or something else? The Canadiens hold the No. 35, No. 38 and two more second-round picks.

The Ottawa Senators could move goaltender Craig Anderson

Teams are calling the St. Louis Blues to see if they’d move defenseman Colton Parayko. The Oilers would be one of them.

The New York Islanders and the Pittsburgh Penguins could be interested in Jeff Skinner. The Detroit Red Wings are one of the teams interested in Justin Faulk. isn’t convinced the Carolina Hurricanes will trade Elias Lindholm as contract talks continue.

There is lots of interest in Washington Capitals Philipp Grubauer, who could land the Capitals a nice return. The Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators might make some sense.

If anyone is interested in Charlie Coyle, Nino Niederreiter or Jason Zucker, the Minnesota Wild are wanting to include Tyler Ennis‘ contract.

Philadelphia Flyers Wayne Simmonds‘ trade list was due this week.

On the Ottawa Senators …

Frank Seravalli: The Senators are working with Craig Anderson’s agent Justin Duberman to find a new team for him. There is nothing imminent. Anderson has two-years left $4.75 million.

Chris Steveson: The Athletic confirms that Craig Anderson wants to move on.

Bruce Garrioch: Anderson’s agent on the trade request: “Ottawa has never asked for me help. They’re going to do whatever they can to improve their team. If that means they’ll trade Craig Anderson, they’ll trade Craig Anderson.”

On the St. Louis Blues …

Lou Korac: Source said that the Blues won’t be trading Colton Parayko. Things can obviously change and things can happen.

Lou Korac: Blues untouchables in option are Alex Pietrangelo, Jaden Schwartz, Brayden Schenn and Colton Parayko.

Lou Korac: Spoke with Blues GM Doug Armstrong yesterday afternoon who said there are interested in bringing him back next season, but added that they are ready to look at the goalie market for a No. 2 if needed, or someone to battle Ville Husso as a No. 2-3.
