Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet: There would be teams interested if the Arizona Coyotes made defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson available. In the past six months though they have brought in his brother (AHL) and traded for one of his closest friends. GM John Chayka has said he wants to re-sign him, and if he trades him, it may be because Ekman-Larsson has told him he wants to go.
Another potential trade option for the Coyotes is defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson, and there would be Stanley Cup contenders interested in him.
