- Steve Zipay of Newsday: Defenseman Keith Yandle was relieved when the Rangers didn’t trade him at the deadline. The 29-year old pending UFA will be looking at a multi-year deal, possibly for as much as $6.5 million a season.

- Curtis Rush: P.A. Parenteau is a pending UFA and he feels like he has a couple years left in him.
- Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun: Tyler Bozak knows there will be even more changes to the Maple Leafs roster this offseason, but he hopes to still be a part of the team.
“I think there is going to be changes this summer like there always is,” Bozak said.
“We are not finishing in a great spot in the standings, so we have not done our job. I am sure things will be changed in the room, but who knows?
“I think the guys have been doing really good and have been earning their keep up here and staff and management have been really pleased with them. That’s bright for the future. I hope I can be part of it.”
