The Athletic ran a bunch of trade-related type posts this week. They obviously go a lot more in-depth in each post, but we’ll just list the players from untradeable to tradeable for the Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames.

Jonathan Willis of The Athletic: Edmonton Oilers

The Untouchables – Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.

Almost untouchable – Oscar Klefbom, Adam Larsson, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Evan Bouchard and Darnell Nurse

Good luck with that – Milan Lucic, Andrej Sekera and Kris Russell.

Conceivable – Kailer Yamamoto and Ethan Bear.

Deadline possibilities – Cam Talbot and Mikko Koskinen.

What would be the point – Tobias Rieder, Ryan Spooner, Kyle Brodziak, Cooper Marody, Ty Rattie, Jujhar Khaira, Alex Chiasson, Kevin Gravel and Jason Garrison.

Plausible now – Zack Kassian, Drake Caggiula, Matt Benning and Al Montoya.

Keep in mind – Jesse Puljujarvi.

Michael Russo of The Athletic: Minnesota Wild

Not being traded – Mikael Granlund, Devan Dubnyk, Zach Parise, Ryan Suter, Jordan Greenway, Nick Seeler and Luke Kunin.

Doubtful they’d trade in-season – Matt Dumba, Jonas Brodin, Jared Spurgeon, Mikko Koivu, Jason Zucker, Marcus Foligno and Greg Pateryn.

Would probably at least consider moving – Eric Staal, Joel Eriksson Ek, Nate Prosser, Alex Stalock and Eric Fehr.

Would likely move – Charlie Coyle, Nino Niederreiter, J.T. Brown and Matt Hendricks.

Eric Stephens of The Athletic: Anaheim Ducks

Untouchable – Ryan Getzlaf, John Gibson, Troy Terry, Sam Steel, Isac Lundestrom and Max Comtois.

Doubful – Cam Fowler, Hampus Lindholm, Rickard Rakell, Ondrej Kase and Josh Mason.

Too hard to facilitate – Corey Perry, Ryan Kesler and Ryan Miller.

Highly unlikely – Patrick Eaves, Brian Gibbons and Carter Rowney.

Conceivable – Adam Henrique, Andrew Cogliano, Brandon Montour, Nick Ritchie, Jacob Larsson, Andrej Sustr and Luke Schenn.

The one that might make the most sense – Jakob Silfverberg

The one that was never thought to be possible – Pontus Aberg

Darren Haynes of The Athletic: Calgary Flames

Untouchable – Mark Giordano, Matthew Tkachuk, Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, Elias Lindholm, Noah Hanifin, Juuso Valimaki and Rasmus Andersson.

Almost untouchable – Travis Hamonic, Dillon Dube and David Rittich.

Conceivable, but be careful – Michael Frolik, Sam Bennett, TJ Brodie, Mark Jankowski and Mike Smith.

Still unpacking – James Neal, Derek Ryan and Austin Czarnik.

What would be the point – Garnet Hathaway and Dalton Prout.

Minor league possibilities – Jon Gillies and Oliver Kylington.
