Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon said the he received an offer for the first overall pick that goes “above and beyond” what is fair, but he’s going to sleep on it.
Darren Dreger: GM Tallon is telling teams that he has a really good offer for the pick, but he not sure if he’ll take it. The other offers he’s received are so-so.
Harvey Fialkov: Tallon saying it’s about a 70 percent chance they’ll keep the pick.
Gene Principe: Tallon said that he’ll contact two team tonight to further discuss their offers. He wouldn’t say if the teams were in the East or West.
