“Not right now, no,” general manager Jim Nill told USA TODAY Sports. “We still have a couple weeks to go, and it’s going to depend where our team is at.”
“We have about eight or nine games before the deadline,” Nill said. “If we go 6-3 or 7-2, we’ll look at it a certain way; if we go, 2-6 or 2-7, then it’s going to be a different mindset. We’re in a battle here and we know it. We’re going to go game by game and win the games we’re supposed to win.”

The Rangers should be fine with offering one of the second round picks (have the Lightning’s) and a prospect not named Anthony Duclair, Pavel Buchnevich or Brady Skjei. If the Hurricanes like John Moore, the Rangers could include him a deal. Sources said the Maple Leafs asked for a second round pick and a prospect from the Rangers last week for Mike Santorelli.
