Question is, does Maloney deal him tomorrow or wait until the offseaosn. If Maloney waits until the offseason, he could find the money to re-sign him. There are a lot of moving parts.

David Pagnotta: The Hurricanes continue to look for a trade partner for Alexander Semin. Reported earlier this week that they are willing to eat a “significant portion” of his salary.
