He’s playing 14 minutes a game, but only has three goals and four assists in 24 games. David Perron knows his name is out there. Head coach Dallas Eakins is feeling the heat as he only has 35 wins in 106 games.
- Mike Johnston of Sportnet: Elliotte Friedman is reporting that the Panthers have made pending UFAs Sean Bergenheim ($2.75 million) and Tomas Fleischmann ($4.5 million) available. Fleischmann has a modified no-trade clause. Brad Boyes could also be getting some interest. Boyes has one year left on his deal at $2.625 million.
