  • Wes Gilbertson of the Calgary Sun: Curtis Glencross admits that he’s been asked to provide the list of teams he’d accept a trade too. He wouldn’t say how many teams were on the list.

“We play for the 20 guys in this room every night. We have a good group. If it comes to the situation where you do have to leave, you’re gonna miss a lot of guys in here. But I have to kind of think about what’s best for myself and the family, as well …

    “It’s a tough situation.”

The Bruins, Penguins and Lightning have reportedly inquired about Glencross.

He was hesitant when asked if he would prefer to remain the Flames.

“It’s tough right now. It’s not only my decision. There’s a coaches’ decision and upstairs’ decision,” Glencross said. “Where we are right now, I don’t really know what’s going to happen.”

  • Roger Millions: Glencross has a no-trade clause. Hearing that up to 15 teams have called the Flames about Glencross. His trade list is less that than.
  • Roger Millions: After talking with some people, believe that his list of teams he would accept a trade to contains five to seven teams.
  • Kristen Odland: Glencross said there have been no contract extension talks.
  • Kristen Odland: Glencross on hearing his name in the rumor mill: “It is tough. We’re expecting our third child in April…It’s just one of those things where there’s nothing you can really do about it. It’s part of the business, part of the game.”
