There was a false report making the rounds on twitter and facebook that Rob Rossi said on TSN radio that the Leafs rejected a Penguins offer of a 2016 1st round pick, Derrick Pouliot, Rob Scuderi and Chris Kunitz for Phil Kessel.
I contacted Rossi just for clarification and the above is not true.
Rossi to me an email: “the offer I heard was Pouliot, Scuderi and Kunitz.”
Rossi received a copy of the interview to double check what he said just in case … the report is not true.
