The NHL Salary Cap Is Here To Stay

The NHLs salary cap system has been around for the past 14 years, and there is little incentive for them to change things.

Oct. 8th: Season starts in North America

Nov. 1st and 2nd: Global Series – Florida and Dallas in Tampere, Finland

Dec. 31st: NHL Winter Classic – St. Louis vs. Chicago at Wrigley Field

Jan. 18th: Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada

Feb. 10th – Feb. 21st: 4 Nations Face-Off – Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States in Boston and Montreal

Mar. 1st: NHL Stadium Series – Detroit vs. Columbus at Ohio State University

Mar. 7th: NHL Trade Deadline (3:00 PM ET)
