The Atlanta Thrashers have traded forward Ben Eager to the San Jose Sharks for a 2011 5th round pick. Eager had seen his ice time reduced in the last month, and is coming off a 4 game suspension for sucker punching Colby Armstrong.
The Sharks have been looking to add some size and grit to their 3rd/4th lines, and Eager fits that role.
