The Tampa Bay Lightning have traded goaltender Kevin Poulin to the Calgary Flames for future considerations.
The Lightning had claimed Poulin off waivers from the Islanders during training camp.
Poulin was drafted 126th overall in the 5th round of 2008 draft by the Islanders.
Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet: Flames assistant GM Brad Pascall said it was a minor league move, with Poulin immediately assigned to Stockton of the AHL. Stockton’s goalie, Jon Gillies, is out with a lower-body injury.
