The Washington Capitals once again sit a top our consensus NHL Power Rankings Week 16, after eight of nine first place rankings. The Chicago Blackhawks received one first place vote, with eight second place rankings.

The Los Angeles Kings remain in third this week. The St. Louis Blues jump up two slots to fourth. The Florida Panthers hold steady at No. 5.

Broken record in the bottom five, as the same teams are there once again, though three teams changed slots.

The Columbus Blue Jackets once again bring up the rear. The Edmonton Oilers and Buffalo Sabres each drop a slot to No. 29 and No. 28 respectively. The Toronto Maple Leafs make the big jump from No. 29 to No. 27.

The Winnipeg Jets remain at 26th.
