St. Louis Blues injury notes

Renaud Lavoie: St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas was not on the ice for practice yesterday.

Jim Thomas: Blues defenseman Vince Dunn practice yesterday in a full face mask.

He skated line rushes with the extras and was paired with Michael Del Zotto

Coach Craig Berube said there is a chance that Dunn is able to get back into the lineup this series.

Tom Timmermann: Berube on Dunn after practice: “That was the best he’s looked, which is a good sign. He’s pretty close.”

Boston Bruins injury notes

Dan Rosen: Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand didn’t practice yesterday. Karson Kuhlman took Marchand’s spot on the line with Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak.

David Krejci was back practicing after he had missed the previous two days with an illness.

Chris Johnston: Coach Bruce Cassidy said that Marchand is good to go for Game 1 after having a maintenance day yesterday.

Matt Kalman of NHL.com: Forward Chris Wagner still has his arm in a splint and is not ready for the start of the series. He is hopeful that he’ll be ready at some point during the Final. He hasn’t practiced since Game 3 against the Hurricanes.

“It’s been a little tough watching them get ready and not being on the ice. It’s been really tough,” Wagner said. “But you just want to stay supportive. We’ve gotten this far. It’s not about me. It’s about the team.”
