John Shannon: Thomas Dundon officially became the majority owner of the Hurricanes. Peter Karmanos retains minority ownership.
Pierre LeBrun: Dundon’s share is at 61 percent after he bought out some additional limited partners. He was initially buying 52 percent.

Joe Smith: Coach Jon Cooper didn’t have an update on defenseman Victor Hedman after the game. Hedman will have tests done today. It is a “concern” for them because of the unknown.
