The Detroit Red Wings have traded defenseman Jakub Kindl to the Florida Panthers for a 2017 6th round pick.
The Red Wings are retaining 15 percent of Kindl’s salary.
General Fanager: Works out to the Red Wings retain $360,000 of Kindl’s $2.4 million cap hit this year and next.
