Curtis Pashelka of the San Jose Mercury News: Defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic was at the arena yesterday after he left Thursday’s game with an apparent head injury.
Not much of an update was given. Coach Pete DeBoer said the upper-body injury was not severe and he’s considered day-to-day. DeBoer doesn’t believe it’s a long-term injury.
Defenseman Paul Martin wants to have one more full practice before getting into a game next week. He’s been out since October 12th with an ankle issue. He hopes to fully participate in practice today.
Kevin Kurz: Martin said his original plan was to play next week but hasn’t ruled out Saturday. It seems unlikely though.
