  • Darren Dreger via twitter: “NHL players aren’t interested in any offer that includes taking less than the $1.87 bil share made last year. Insider Trading tonite on TSN.”
  • Michael Grange via twitter: “if league is offering 49% of HRR in yr1 that’s $1.7b (if revs grow 5%) Players got $1.87b last yr and want $1.91b next yr.”
  • Kevin Kurz via twitter: “NHL offer reportedly 49% of HRR, and 47 in sixth yr. Figure that can be negotiated to, say, 53/50. Time for players to be realistic here.”
  • John Shannon via twitter: The NHL’s counter offer was put together quickly yesterday. The two owners that were involved were Bruins Jacobs and Flames Edwards.
  • Bruce Garrioch via twitter: Gary Bettman said the NHL moved $275 million in their latest proposal. The two sides don’t agree on term.
