Chuck Gormley of CSN Washington: Capitals coach Adam Oates said they “need” Tom Wilson in their lineup. He could start on the fourth line and work his way up. If they keep him, they’d be over the salary cap by $628,462 and would have to either make a trade or put someone on waivers. Candidates could be Jason Chimera , Mathieu Perreault or Jay Beagle . Other options could be Aaron Volpatti and Tomas Kundratek but moving just one wouldn’t be enough.
