Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune: Blackhawks Marian Hossa has been given medical clearance by the team. He’s been recovering from a concussion that he suffered from a Raffi Torres hit in Game 3 of the Western Conference quarterfinals last season.
Steve Zipay of Newsday: If the season were to begin in January, Rangers Rick Nash, Marian Gaborik and Carl Hagelin would be expected to be healthy enough to start the season.
