Devils co-owner Jeff Vanderbeek plans to buyout owners Ray Chambers and Mike Gilfillan, but some don’t think he can afford it alone. The Blues have “a number of very strong candidates” according to president John Davidson. Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle wasn’t concerned about the ownership questions when negotiating his contract: “I didn’t even think about that when I was doing my negotiation,” Yandle said. “You think about getting a deal done and staying in Phoenix.”
