This is an interesting Q and A with the architect of the current Los Angeles Kings team. Dean Lombardi is candid in his evaluation of the top talent available in the draft. The problem is i’m not convinced more young offensive talent is what the kings really need at this point. If you’re Lombardi, maybe you talk up the talent your 5th pick could obtain in hopes of flipping it to help acquire some proven veteran goaltending? Just a thought.
