Sarah Baicker of CSNPhilly: A day after Shane Doan re-signed with the Coyotes in September, his agent, Terry Bross, posted a picture of two Shane Doan jersey’s in Flyers colors on instagram. The picture had the caption “So glad this didn’t happen. It came close though.” A Flyers team source did say the that the Flyers created Doan jerseys “months ago.” Theey also said that it is not uncommon for them to make up jerseys for potential players.
Peter Wallner of MLive: When Red Wings prospect Riley Sheahan was pulled over by the cops on October 29th, he was nearly four times (0.30) over the legal limit, and he was wearing a purple Teletubby costume. Sheahan was charged with providing false information as he was carrying Brendan Smith’s Michigan drivers license.
Dan Tencer via twitter: Oilers prospect Oscar Klefbom is anticipating he’s played his last game in Sweden. Klefbom gets to choose where he’ll have surgery, Dec. 6th in Sweden or Dec. 13th in Edmonton.
