Dave Stubbs of Habs Inside/Out: The Montreal Canadiens have acquired defenseman Paul Mara from the Anaheim Ducks for a 2012 5th round pick.
The pick the Ducks received previously belonged to them, they sent it to Montreal in the Maxim Lapierre trade at the end of December, 2010.
