Pittsburgh Penguins: Coach Mike Sullivan on Sidney Crosby: “Sid is being evaluated for an upper-body injury.”

Wes Crosby: Sullivan wouldn’t say if Crosby would miss tonight’s game. He’d only say that Crosby’s upper-body injury was being evaluated.

Capitals lose three players yesterday

Capitals PR: Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov left last night’s game early with an upper-body injury. He will be re-evaluated today.

Brian Munz: Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

Isabelle Khurshudyan: Capitals coach Todd Reirden said that Holtby injured himself during their morning skate.

After taking “a blow to the head,” they held Kuznetsov out for mostly for “precautionary” reasons.

Isabelle Khurshudyan of the Washington Post: Capitals forward T.J. Oshie suffered a possible concussion late in the game after he was thrown to the ice by Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey. Oshie has had four concussions during his career.

Brett Pesce has a lower-body issue: “From what I heard, he wanted to practice. Maybe tomorrow.”

Petr Mrazek‘s lower-body injury: “He’s been feeling better. … He hasn’t been out there with us yet, but from what I hear, everything is getting real close.”

Victor Rask‘s right hand injury: “He’s getting close to being hopefully cleared to work with us pretty soon.”
