Forbes release NHL team values: Maple Leafs valued at $1 billion

Forbes released their 2012 NHL team values today, with the Toronto Maple Leafs hitting the $1 billion mark. Along with the Leafs, only the Rangers and Canadiens are valued at more than $350 million.

The Maple Leafs are valued at more than the bottom six teams combined, with over a $100 million to spare. The bottom six teams are Predators, Hurricanes, Islanders,  Blue Jackets, Coyotes and Blues.
