- Iain MacIntyre of the Vancouver Sun: The Canucks have put Andrew Ebbett on the LTIR retroactive to last Thursday with a broken foot. They also recalled goalie Eddie Lack yesterday, but he is expected to be sent back to the AHL today according to coach Alain Vigneault. This would signal that Roberto Luongo’s injury isn’t that serious. Adam Jahns via twitter: Vigneault said multiple times yesterday that Luongo is day-to-day.
- Mark Stepneski via twitter: Stars Adam Burish has a broken hand and is out 4 to 6 weeks.
- Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal: Oilers defenseman Cam Barker will be out about a month with a sprained ankle. The Oils hope to have Ryan Whitney back in 10 days or so. Devan Dubnyk is expected to start in net for the Oilers against the Senators.
