- Ansar Khan: Red Wings GM Ken Holland said that Stephen Weiss had a setback and was going for tests.
- Helene St. James: Red Wings Pavel Datsyuk will see his fourth doctor tomorrow to look at his inflamed knee. The previous three have said surgery is not needed at this time.
- Sarah McLellan: Coyotes Martin Hanzal is questionable tonight with a lower-body injury.
- Ryan Rishaug: Oilers Anton Belov is out several weeks with a partially torn oblique muscle.
- Chip Alexander: Hurricanes Justin Faulk is out 10 days with an upper-body injury.
- Rob Mixer: Blue Jackets Ryan Murray left last night’s game with a lower-body injury. Aaron Portzline: Portzline was told that Murray twisted his left leg, appears to be an ankle or knee.
- John Vogl: Sabres interim coach Ted Nolan said he hasn’t spoken with GM Tim Murray and that there is no deadline on the offer to remain with the team.
- Nick Kypreos: The Sabres and Pat LaFontaine settled on terms from his multi-year deal, including a non-disclosure agreement.
