  • Andrew Walker: Hearing that Kings Jeff Carter has a broken foot.
  • NHL Devils PR: Devils coach Peter DeBoer said that a decision will come tomorrow morning on Cory Schneider’s availability for this weekends back-to-back games. Brodeur starting against the Flyers.
  • Corey Pronman: The Red Wings called up goalie Petr Mrazek. Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press: Jonas Gustavsson strained his neck in warm-ups on Wednesday night. Johan Franzen will be in the lineup.
  • Dan O’Neill of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Blues Brenden Morrow didn’t skate on Wednesday and Thursday. Morrow will stay in St. Louis and will be evaluated on Monday to see if he can join the team in Montreal. Magnus Paajarvi was put on the IR retroactive to last Sunday. Parrjarvi will skate with the team today and is eligible to come off the IR tomorrow. He could play if he’s ready, but that seems unlikely.
  • TSN: Both George Parros and Max Pacioretty will return the Canadiens lineup this weekend.
  • Minnesota Wild PR: Wild’s Charlie Coyle has been activated from the IR. Michael Russo: Jonas Brodin, Charlie Coyle and Keith Ballard will return to the Wild’s lineup.
  • Steve Zipay: Rangers Ryan Callahan practiced today with a contact jersey on.
