- Chris Stevenson: Loui Eriksson flew back to Boston yesterday. He has been diagnosed with a concussion and is out indefinitely.

“With concussions, you just have to be careful. And when I say concussion, I haven’t actually been told that I’ve officially had one. Still kind of waiting on more results form the doctors and more feedback on what they saw.
“I know what you guys know, I got knocked out and it’s just a matter of making sure that I have no symptoms and I’m OK going forward in order to get back in the lineup.”
- Andrew Gross: Rangers Henrik Lundqvist was back on the ice yesterday taking shots. He said he’s not sure if he’ll be ready for Saturday, but added that if it were the playoffs, he’d play.
- Leafs PR: Joffrey Lupul has a bruised foot and is day-to-day. He’s making the trip but Josh Leivo has been recalled.
- Roger Millions: Flames Mark Giordano seems to be walking fine and met with doctors yesterday. Not ready just yet.
- Sarah McLellan: Coyotes Lauri Korpikoski stayed home and is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
- Harvey Fialkov of the Sun-Sentinel: Panthers Sean Bergenheim will return to the lineup tonight. His last game was on April 26th, 2012.
- Joanne Ireland of the Edmonton Journal: Oilers Sam Gagner will have to wait another week to be cleared by doctors to return. Will be re-evaluated next week.
- Chip Alexander: Hurricanes Jeff Skinner left last nights game with an upper-body injury.
- Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer: Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward will be out three to four weeks with a lower-body injury.
- Michael Russo: Wild’s Josh Harding left last night’s game with a lower-body injury. “I hope it’s not bad and he’ll be back soon.”
