  • Joe McDonald: Bruins coach Claude Julien on Dougie Hamilton’s concussion: “He’ll be out for a little bit, but we don’t anticipate it being too, too long.”
  • Michael Russo: Wild’s Zach Parise skated yesterday morning with assistant coach Darby Hendrickson.
  • Mark Stepneski: Stars coach Lindy Ruff said that defenseman Aaron Rome (lower-body) will be out for a bit.
  • Shelly Anderson: Penguins Roberto Bortuzzo thinks he has been cleared to play on Wednesday.
  • Ansar Khan: Red Wings Johan Franzen said he’s still experiencing dizziness and is not feeling good. Status for Thursday is uncertain.
  • Shelly Anderson: Penguins James Neal’s injury is not related to his previous injury according to coach Dan Bylsma.
  • Eric Stephens: Ducks Bryan Allen (lower-body) practiced yesterday.
  • Michael Smith: Hurricanes Patrick Dwyer (lower-body) and Drayson Bowman (lower-body) should be ready to return by Saturday.
  • Dan Wood: Ducks Viktor Fasth (lower-body) is expected to start skating this week or next week.
  • Helene Elliott: Kings defenseman Matt Greene is out with an upper-body injury.
  • Chad Graff: Wild’s Josh Harding practiced yesterday and hopes to do so today.
  • Rob Tychkowski: Oilers Ales Hemsky’s ankle is badly swollen, but x-rays didn’t show a break. He’s doubtful for Minnesota.
