DJ Bean of WEEI: Source with “direct knowledge” is saying that Bruins Nathan Horton has been dealing with chronic left shoulder subluxation. He originally suffered the injury in a fight with Jarome Iginla on April 20th. He receives shots before each game for the pain. His shoulder has popped out a couple times during the playoffs and it was the most painful during Wednesday’s game. It’s not known if he’ll be able to go on Saturday and is listed as “day-to-day.”
Andrew Gross: Rangers Michael Del Zotto had successful sports hernia surgery and will be recovering for about four weeks.
Scott Brown: Jets Evander Kane had surgery to remove pressure from a nerve in his foot, with recovery time expected to be 4 to 6 weeks.
