- Michael Russo: Wild’s Charlie Coyle left last night’s game with an injury and did not return. Coach Mike Yeo said that it isn’t “gravely serious,” but unlikely to play on Tuesday.
- Katie Carrera of the Washington Post: Capitals defenseman Jack Hillen had surgery on Friday to repair a fractured tibial plateau (top part of tibia that is under the knee). He will be out four to six months.
- Pittsburgh Penguins: Penguins Kris Letang skated yesterday but there is still no timetable for his return.
- Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun: Canucks Alex Burrows is likely out for a couple of weeks after blocking a shot with his right foot on Thursday.
