Arthur Staple: The Islanders put Brian Strait on the IR retroactive to Oct. 24th with an upper-body injury.
Eric Stephens: Ducks Saku Koivu hasn’t experienced any lingering symptoms from Brandon Dubinsky’s hit. He’s skating and could return soon. Koivu could potentially be “ready to go” on Wednesday.
Larry Brooks: Rangers Rick Nash missed his 11th straight game with a concussion, everything “status quo.” Aaron Portzline: To Portzline’s knowledge, Nash suffered only one concussion while with the Blue Jackets.
