- Chip Alexander: Hurricanes Tim Gleason said that next Thursday may be the “safest bet” for his return.
- Gary Lawless: Jets coach Claude Noel said that Evander Kane, Brian Little and Jim Slater are all day-to-day. Kane could be able to go tonight.
- Ian Mendes: Sharks GM Doug Wilson said that Dan Boyle will need a few more days before a full evaluation on his injuries are known.
- Rob Parent: Flyers Kimmo Timonen left last night’s game with a lower-body injury.
- Chris Johnston: Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle said that James Reimer will be able to practice today. Reimer had a “headache” after the hit. (left after 32 seconds after a collision with a teammate. Missed time two years ago with a concussion)
- John Lu: Canadiens Max Pacioretty has a left hamstring strain and will be out three weeks. The Canadiens won’t make any AHL call ups to fill the roster spot.
- Chip Alexander: Hurricanes Anton Khudobin might be able to return after next week.
