- Wes Gilbertson: Flames Matt Stajan is out week-to-week with a deep leg contusion and is on the IR.
- Ansar Khan: Red Wings Patrick Eaves skated today for the first time since he suffered his knee and ankle on Sept. 19th. He did leave half way through practice.
- Aaron Partzline: Blue Jackets Fedor Tyutin will travel with the team to Buffalo but isn’t going to play. They are hoping for Saturday.
