Jaromir Jagr becomes the third player to score 750 NHL goals

On Jaromir Jagr …

NHL PR: Florida Panthers Jaromir Jagr scored his 750th NHL goal. Wayne Gretzky (894) and Gordie Howe (801) are the only other players to score over 750 goals in the NHL. Jagr was playing in his 1,633rd career game and is 44-years old. Gretzky scored his 750th goal at 31-years old and in his 1,001st game. Howe scored his 750th goal at 41-years old and in his 1,598th game.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Eric Stephens of the OC Register: Recently signed Rickard Rakell could be reporting to the Ducks as soon as next week. He is going through the process of getting his visa. He is still recovering from offseason surgery.

On the Columbus Blue Jackets …

Aaron Portzline: The Blue Jackets put Cody Goloubef on waivers yesterday and he cleared today.

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

Bryan Burns: Coach Jon Cooper said that sending Slater Koekkeok to the AHL is not a demotion, but an opportunity to get into more games: “We can’t have the young guy sitting up in the stands.”

Ken Boehlke of the Sin Bin: Sources say that Las Vegas will reveal their team name on Tuesday, November 22nd. Their logo, colors and jerseys will be unveiled at the Toshiba Plaza outside the T-Mobile Arena.
